“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”
You would least expect this but this game has taken a huge turn for me. The last tribe switch where all of the old Loa Seki left me for dead on Malaga was the straw that broke the camel's back. They honestly probably thought I was done for over there... but how wrong they could be.
I am now in an alliance with Jefra, Hope, Courtney, Cochran, Jaclyn and Bob. I have flipped to the old Malaga in an effort to buy myself more time in this game. I am well aware of the fact that I am probably on the outs of this alliance but after what Loa Seki has done in this game and the way I've been treated it matters not to me anymore. Even if I don't win this game, which I have every intention on trying to do, seeing my old tribemates get their comeuppance will be enough of a win for me..
As of right now if we lose this upcoming challenge it looks like Alec will probably be going home. He is the dragon in this game. He is the big threat. He's pretty comfortable in his position and talks to a lot of people. He's also one of the people I feel betrayed by most. Of course I completely expect him and the original Loa Seki to try and bring me back on board but too many bridges have been burned. I would say the only original Loa Seki's I don't have anything against would be Pete and Sandra and both of them seem to be on the outs. If I can keep them around the longest it's entirely possible that maybe sometime down the road I can align with them, Cochran and Bob to break up the tight four person alliance of Jaclyn, Hope, Jefra and Courtney.
But for now I'm completely happy with seeing some of my old tribemates out of this game. Consider this my revenge... and it really is sweet.
