Tribal Council
Hello Malaga and welcome to Tribal Council. Let's get right to the questions. Alec and Elyse - This is now your third Tribal Council in a row, and the past two votes were blindsides. Can you ever truly feel safe in this game? Are you always on edge or do you have allies that you feel you can trust? Brenda, Cao Boi and Hope - Today's challenge was a prime example of how important luck can be in a game like Survivor. How do you feel luck has impacted you in this game? Has the impact been positive or negative?
Everyone - There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
Everyone - What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
The voting deadline is Thursday January 22nd at 10:00pm EST. If you do not vote by this time, you will receive a self-vote. As you already know, voting is to be done in your thread titled "Voting History" using the parchment below. Good luck!

Luck has definitely impacted me in this game. Mostly negative.
Everyone - There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
No, they won't affect how I will vote tonight. I'm pretty confident I know the outcome of this Tribal Council and I'm ok with it.
Everyone - What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
On who I feel has played the game the least.

~There have been positives and there have been negatives. It really comes down with having to go with the flow of things. We have had some bad luck lately losing the challenges. It's a slippery slop, and it goes up and down. Luck isn't constant.
Everyone - There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
~I have been waiting for the merge since this game started, it doesn't really effect how I am voting though. Which might seem unsmart. But hey.
Everyone - What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
~I will be basing my vote based on what I think will be best post-merge.

It’s tricky - I trust my allies wholeheartedly, but at the same time there’s always that feeling in the corner of your mind that maybe it could be you. A variety of circumstances could come into play to end your game, #idols, but I know my allies have my back.
Everyone - There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
Not particularly. At merge, you need allies, so I’m sticking by mine, as per usual.
Everyone - What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
As always, trust, trust, and more trust.

Tribe swaps can be a mixture of good/bad luck in the way they play out. But I think I've been secure in all my different tribes up until this point. I think overall, you're probably going to get a bit of good and bad luck, just have to roll with it.
There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
This doesn't really affect the way I vote. My vote would remain the same whether or not we stay on tribes or merge next round. The person leaving tonight could be on the jury, but again, it won't be the deciding factor in my vote.
What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
My vote is based on who I feel I need the most for my game. I feel I've done my best to build relationships with these people, I hope they value that and want to keep me around too. We'll see what happens.

That is correct. No, you can never feel truly safe in this game unless you have immunity. The outcome can change at any given moment, so it would be foolish to feel safe without immunity. I tend to always be on the edge, however, I do still have allies that I feel I can trust.
Everyone - There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming merge and when jury will start. Do these unknowns affect the way you vote? How?
Yes, we are all anxiously waiting for the merge to come and the jury to start! I guess they slightly affect the way I vote, because obviously you want people in the merge who aren't really threats to you, and you don't want people who dislike you to be on the jury.
Everyone - What will you be basing your vote on tonight?
I will be basing my vote on sticking with the people that I actually talk to and feel that I can trust, and seeing where it takes me.
