The Survivor Games: Tuvalu
Introduction
Hello everyone and welcome to the official start of The Survivor Games: Tuvalu. Thanks for bearing with me on waiting for the last few people to Check In. As you may have seen we got our two replacements in, and I'm very excited to have them aboard! But wait? Two replacements? Aren't there 4 available spots on the Check In? Well what you are not aware of is that two of the players this season have been around and were instructed not to Check In. That is because these two castaways are familiar faces. Last season in Palawan, we had The Alpha twist. Two brave castaways stepped up as the Alphas on their tribe from the get go, but they weren't able to seal the deal in the game and lead there way to a win. Without any further ado, let's welcome our last two castaways....
Welcome back Coach and Jefra! Very excited to have the two of you back this season. Now while everyone was checking in, Coach and Jefra had the responsibility of selecting tribes. The tribe selection was not based on first impressions just seeing you instead, it was based on the 3 personality traits that you described yourself as. Both Coach and Jefra ranked these items blind, meaning they didn't know who the personality traits belonged to, only what gender they represented. The rankings determined how the tribe would be determined by a geneder alternated pick'em. Jefra's first choice was a male, and Coach's a female. This order would alternate until we were left with the following tribes (not shown in the order chosen)
So there we have our tribes! But don't get too comfortable, because things are about to get a little bumpy. We have two over-arching twists this season.
As you may have noticed from the background, or from research if you did any, Tuvalu is not the largest place, and due to size restrictions there aren't many options for tribe beaches, therefore this season the first twist is a "One World" twist. That means...
CROSS TRIBAL COMMUNICATION IS ALLOWED THIS SEASON
Not only is it allowed, it is encouraged! When you get access to your tribe camp you will find your tribes AIM list as well as the screen names of the opposing tribe. Don't ever feel too comfortable in this game. This adventure of a lifetime is beginning on the island during Tau-o-lalo, the seasonal weather period known for westerly gales and heavy rains. The winds of change are coming in and who knows how often they'll choose to visit.
The last twist involves a new location this season...
Each round the Immunity winners will earn access to the Treasure Trove. Each round a new treasure will be hidden at the Trove. This treasure could be a power that will help benefit you, benefit an ally or hinder an enemy. The only way to get access to the Trove and to have a chance at learning more about it is to win a challenge and get a chance at earning some power.
Coach and Jefra were unaware of this, but the first male chosen by Jefra and the first female chosen by Coach will be given access to the Treasure Trove once the tribes have been set up. Who are these lucky individuals? Well it will be up to them to decide to share that information.
That's all I have for you for now, I'll be setting up tribes and getting the forum graphics set up in the next hour. Bear with me while I get all of this done.
Once you get access to your tribe camps you will find the season AIM list as well as Tree Mail with information on your first challenge, so make sure to check that out!
I hope you are all as excited as I am to get this season going! May the odds be ever in your favour, you're going to need them to be!
