“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win”
The first immunity challenge of Survivor: Tuvalu is in the books and I'm very proud to say it was quite the decisive win for Loa Seki. I know I previously had said that I did not want to look like a major challenge threat and that was not my intention but I also want to make sure that my tribe stays dominant for a long time. I may have looked strong but so did Alec, Brenda and Coach. We are strong as a unit. We have cohesion.. which is something that Malaga clearly lacks. They were disorganized, many of their tribemates did not even bother to compete... or didn't compete much at all.
Our ability to come together as a group is what I feel will push us to that next level over Malaga. Jefra decided to complain and cry foul rather than help her tribe. Many of their tribe gave solid efforts. Namely John K, Hope, Jaclyn and Cochran but, again, there is no cohesion. If the army is weak, then the battle is destined to fail.
Jefra clearly went to war before seeking to win. Our tribe on the other hand.. we decided to take the opposite approach. Win now, and we'll focus on going to war later.
As for the Treasure Trove.. unfortunately when we gained access the immunity totem was already claimed. It appears that one of the two male or female castaways who was chosen first probably claimed it. However, we need to work as a group to try and claim the immunity advantage that is available because we definitely want to keep this momentum up.
Right now this game is falling into place for me exactly how I wanted it. We have a solid tribe and I have a majority alliance that I can put my trust into. I'm feeling confident, but pride is a deadly sin. I have to make sure to not let my guard down and always be aware that at any time.. at any second.. the game could change drastically.
