So we lost the challenge...which SUCKS. Unfortunately, I haven't been around to socialize with most of the tribe (the only people I've talked to on a regular basis thus far have been John K and Jaclyn) so I'm definitely expecting a few votes tonight. It sucks because the tribe chat is so...awkward for me. I don't necessarily feel like I've found my place in this group yet but in Survivor, you have to adapt quickly. Hopefully if I stay past this vote, that's what I'm able to do. It sucks because I haven't really gelled with the group to the extent I would have liked to but one vote. That's all I'll need to hopefully integrate myself better into the tribe. I've sort of sold myself as a free vote to John K. and Jaclyn so I'm hoping one of them utilizes me. I've heard multiple people tell me Vytas is actually the vote which is both surprising and doubtful. At this point in the game, there's really no point to lie to me about something like that (because I'd literally be a first boot so I don't get why they'd lie to me about a unanimous vote).
As for my tribemates themselves?
Cochran/Vytas are the only two I haven't spoken to one-on-one
Courtney/Hope/Jefra are all nice enough but I haven't talked to them enough to the point where I can trust them even an inkling.
Bobby's a good guy from what I've talked to him about. Understandably though it hasn't been that deep of conversation.
Jaclyn's sweet and I told her I trusted her yesterday and she told me she trusted me. I'm quite legitimate on trusting her and I flat out said that if we were able to work together, that'd be awesome. I think she's being honest? I hope she is, at least.
John's my guy. I clicked with him right away and he and I are already good friends. He told me he'd do what he'd can to pitch Vytas' name and throw him under the bus but I'm hoping it won't be so much to the point where his neck becomes vulnerable to the guillotine.
Ultimately, what my plan of attack has to be is to bus Vytas as much as possible. It's completely unglamorous and not at all how I intended to start this game but as it's often said: it's not how you start, but how you finish.
