Elyse has arrived! The dominatrix of The Survivor Games: Tuvalu.
I'm starting out this game like a true assassin should: ready to cut throats left and right. So far I have already formed a five person majority alliance on our tribe consisting of myself, Shane, Brenda, Alec and Morgan.
I decided to name it "Shane and the BEAM Team" because we all know that Shane needs to have his ego stroked in order to be happy. The BEAM stands for Brenda, Elyse, Alec and Morgan respectively.
The first person I talked to in this game is Jefra, who is a member of the opposing tribe. Apparently she thought that I was on her tribe, which is weird. I guess she couldn't tell that it clearly stated that I am a member of Loa Seki, whereas she is a member of Malaga. I told her that my tribe was going to kick her tribe's ass, and she claimed that it won't happen and that she has kicked Coach's ass so many times. Well apparently we showed her wrong in the first immunity challenge. I told her that I would whip Coach into shape, and she responded with, "Oh God! Why are you not on my tribe?" I told her that it was because obviously she sucks at picking personality traits, because I'm amazing, but that I wished that I was on her tribe. Which wasn't completely false, I did wish that I was on her tribe at first because I felt like I connected more with her tribe than my own tribe at the start of the game. I was hoping maybe there would be a chance to mutiny to their tribe, but once I actually talked to people from my tribe, I felt comfortable with my position in the tribe. It also didn't hurt that I was able to form that five person majority alliance within it. Jefra left me with a warning to be careful of Coach, because he is able to do anything when he feels that he is in the danger zone. I politely responded with, "Good to know. Thanks for the information!" I will take every bit of information that I am given in this game into consideration.
I also talked to Vytas and Cochran, but other than mutually agreeing that we were excited for the game to start, it didn't really get anywhere. Also, Cochran said that he was going to show up for the challenge right at 9:15, and I agreed and said that I didn't want to risk being late. He agreed, and said that he wouldn't want his tribe to vote him out for that.
Then I talked to Coach. He said that he was getting to know the tribe a bit. I thanked him for picking me for his tribe, and he thanked me for picking personality traits he liked. I told him that he picked a pretty awesome tribe from the looks of it. He agreed, and said that he loves the ones we got. I agreed, as we had seemed like an active bunch so far. He said that he hoped we wouldn't have to spend an entire round getting rid of an inactive. I agreed, as that would totally suck. He said that he didn't think we would have to deal with that, though, so it was all good. I told him that I wasn't concerned about our tribe at the moment. He said that he thinks we're good for the most part, and that it should be a fun season, and that he knows from experience how crazy last season got, at least for him. I agreed that it should be a fun season, and that I was super excited.
Then I talked to Alec. We both agreed that our tribe seemed like the dominant tribe right off the bat. I asked him who he got good vibes from, and he said "everyone" which was a total cop out. He said that of those he had talked to, he hadn't disliked anyone. However, at that point, four people from our tribe hadn't logged on yet, or hadn't talked to him, but he said that everyone else had been pretty rad. I agreed that from the people I had talked to so far, I liked them. He said that he was obviously the best, though, and that his meat collection is unparalleled. I had to agree, because there was no contest. He mentioned that one of the screennames is someone that he has played with before, and that knowing him kind of bugs him, because he prefers alias. I completely understand that. He said that it was whatever, but that it's bothersome, and that it's the opposite of meat. I told him that meat is great, so it must suck. He said that he would know, and that the best part of meat collecting was that he still had three days until the joke got old. I disagree, I think the joke got old within an hour. He said that in looking at the cast, he was upset that the Courtney we have isn't Courtney Marit, given that Shane is on our tribe. We agreed that would have been highly entertaining, especially since is screenname is "deathtocourtney". Then apparently he didn't remember that Elyse was from South Pacific, which hurt my feelings a bit. I tried to jog his memory saying that they blindsided her because she was tight with Ozzy. That seemed to do it for him, and he remembered that Jim was very suspicious of them. I told him that Keith and Whitney were cowards and threw their votes on Dawn so they wouldn't have to "betray" Ozzy. He thought that the vote was 2-2-2, but I corrected him that it was actually 3-2-2. He said he forgot about Dawn when counting. He said he didn't remember South Pacific having an interesting pre-merge, and I said that the Elyse boot was really the most interesting it got. He said that a 3-2-2 vote can still be a kinda boring episode, like Kelley's boot in San Juan del Sur. I guess that's true. He said he looked at his AIM profile picture and thought it was Drew for a second. I don't see how that's possible, because Alec and Drew really didn't look all that similar in my opinion.
Then I talked to Brenda. She asked if I play ORGs often, and I told her that I used to, but I haven't played in a while. She said that it was the same for her. She admitted that she is not very good at these games, though, and that she just loves getting to know people and that it's fun. She said that this series seems great, and I agreed that it definitely does.
Then I talked to Cao Boi for a bit, and he said that it looks like we have a great tribe, and I agreed and said that we seemed like an active bunch so far. It was a very brief conversation that only lasted a few minutes, and didn't really get anywhere.
Later on I had talked to Brenda again, and I asked how her day was, and she said "busy, but fun" and proceeded to ask me about mine, to which I replied, "boring and not fun". She suggested that I put on some music and dance, as that is always fun, and that sounded like a great idea! I actually did that during a commercial break while watching the Celebrity Apprentice premiere. I put on some twerk music and got to booty poppin'. Then I told her how I loved the fact that there's another hot Asian female in this cast, to which she replied with, "Shii Ann?" but I informed her that obviously Shii Ann doesn't cut it. I told her that she looked like shit compared to us. She agreed, and said that hopefully she would be gone before any tribe swaps. I agreed, and said that she gives us Asian girls a bad name. She asked me how the dancing went, and I told her that it went great and I got my twerk on. She found that amusing, and said that she loved it.
Then I talked to Sandra. She said that she had to work the next day and that she was dreading it, so I wished her good luck. She told me that she had to be there early too, to which I said that I hate waking up early. She agreed, and I asked her what time she had to wake up. She said 5:30, and I nearly had a heart attack after that.
Then I talked to Pete, and it was honestly like pulling teeth. His screenname is definitely "talkingishard" for a reason.
Then I talked to Alec again, and he told me that I'm kind. I said that he's too sweet, and that he's quite kind as well. Then I went in for the kill and told him that I was talking Shane the night before, and we were discussing who we got good vibes from so far on our tribe, and we both agreed that we enjoyed talking to him, and that we also agreed that we liked Brenda as well, and Morgan too. I told him I thought it would be great if the five of us were to team up. He responded with, "Yes, yes, yes, and more yes." which was obviously a good sign. He said he got good vibes from all four of us, and that it was a no brainer. I told him that I even thought up a cute alliance name for us: Shane and the BEAM Team with BEAM standing for Brenda, Elyse, Alec and Morgan respectively. He said that he liked it, and asked if anyone had talked to Morgan or Brenda yet. I told him that I talked to Morgan the afternoon before, as well as that morning, and I talked to Brenda the night before and that Shane talked to them both the night before as well. He asked if they were down for it, and said he was good to go. I told him that I thought he just meant talking in general, and that so far I had talked to him and Morgan both about it that morning, and that I hadn't had the chance to talk to Brenda about it yet, but I was sure she would be down for it as well. He replied with "awesome" and said that it sounded good, and that to be completely honest, Cao Boi's fun in the group chat, but he's hard to talk to one-on-one and that he likes Coach, but he has that whole returning player stigma and that he thinks this is a good five. I told him that when I was thinking of everyone I had talked to as of last night, I hadn't got much out of my conversations with Coach, Sandra or Cao Boi, and that I hadn't talked to Pete at all until that morning, and even then, it didn't really go anywhere. I agreed that I really liked Cao Boi in the group chat as well, though, and that hopefully we could go on a bit of an immunity run and not have to worry about Tribal Council for a while. He said that he would go ahead and make the group chat, because he loves group chats, but if that if Brenda didn't know yet, we may as well sit on it. I told him that I was actually thinking of making a group chat as well, but that we should probably talk to Brenda about it first. I was sure she would be fine with it, though. He agreed that she probably would, and that it would be dumb of her not to, unless she was in love with Pete and Sandra or something. To which I replied that I would find it hard for her to be, since they don't seem like the best at holding a conversation. He jokingly replied with, "Nah, don't you know, Pete/Sandra are much more thrilling conversationalists than me or you." I responded saying maybe moreso than me, but definitely not him from my experience. To which he told me that I was underselling myself, and that I have a ton of awesome stories, and he loves it when people type tons, because it shows engagement in the conversation. I thanked him, and told him that I appreciated that. He said to not be too grateful, and that it's a compliment someone gave him one time, and it really rang true, and that it's a compliment to both of us. I definitely agreed with that, and he gave me a fun fact that person that told him that went on to win the game, and said he must have good taste, to which I replied apparently so.
Then I talked to Coach again, and he said that he was ready for whatever the first challenge was going to be. I told him that I was as well, and that I was prepared for the worst. He agreed, and said that it wasn't going to be a cakewalk, that was for sure. I told him that we were going to have to prove ourselves. He said that he was sure that it wouldn't be too difficult to do, though, which I agreed with, because obviously are tribe was already proving to be an active bunch and I wasn't too worried about us.
Then I talked to Cao Boi again, and he asked if I was getting ready for the challenge, to which I replied that indeed I was.
Then Brenda gave me a 30 minute warning for the start of the challenge, and I told her that I was so excited, yet nervous at the same time. She comforted me in telling me that we would rock it, and I agreed. Then I went in for the kill with her, and told her that I really enjoyed talking to her the day before, and that I was talking to Shane about who we had good conversations with last night, and we both agreed on her, and that we also enjoyed talking to Alec, and thought Morgan is pretty cool as well, and that I thought it would be great if we formed a five person majority alliance of her, Shane, Alec, Morgan and I, and asked what her thoughts were on that. She said that it sounded perfect, and that she had talked to all of them already so that would work. She said she hadn't talked too much to Morgan though, and asked if I had. I told her that I had talked to her the afternoon before as well as that morning and that she seems to have a weird sleep schedule or something, because she said she was going to bed since she was up for like 20 hours straight.
Then the first immunity challenge came along, and we kicked ass and won, even though I completely sucked.
After we won, Brenda messaged me saying, "We did it!!" and I told her that she did awesome. She said that I did too, which was obviously untrue because I wasn't able to claim any treasure, but I would like to think I did a decent job cheerleading. She said that I was there the whole time, and that I rocked. I said that if we were going by attendance, then I guess she would be right. She pointed out that almost all of us were on, which I noticed as well, and said that I was very proud of us. She told me that she was going to bed, and once again said I did a great job and said that she thought this really brought us together. I told her to sleep well because she had earned it, but before going to bed, she had wanted to check out Treasure Cove and I did as well.
Then Cao Boi messaged me saying despite not claiming any treasures, that he admired the fact that I was always on top of it. I thanked him and told him that I appreciated him saying that. He said that I could have gotten frustrated and stopped, but I didn't, to which I replied that I would never quit because quitters never win. He ended it by saying, "Never venture, never win."
I decided to name it "Shane and the BEAM Team" because we all know that Shane needs to have his ego stroked in order to be happy. The BEAM stands for Brenda, Elyse, Alec and Morgan respectively.
